FAQ's

What types and sizes of Mobile Health Clinics do you offer?

ADI Mobile Health can build any type and size of clinic you require.

What is the typical cost of a Mobile Health Clinic?

Mobile Health Clinics can range in cost starting as low as $250,000 up to $600,000 or more. Let us know what your budget is, and we will be happy to help you determine what type and size of clinic best meets your needs.

How long do your mobile clinics typically last?

ADI has mobile clinics that have been in operation for over 20 years.  Our clinics have an average lifespan of 12-15 years when maintained according to our schedule.

Do you carry stock mobile clinics?

No, because ADI is a custom manufacturer. All of our clinics are specifically designed and custom built to meet your programs requirements.

What is the normal procedure for ordering a mobile clinic?

ADI is with you for the entire build process and life span of your clinic.  It starts with designing your dream clinic and receiving a quotation from our expert designer.  Once you’ve approved your floor plan and quotation ADI will send you a purchase agreement and down payment invoice.  ADI then immediately orders your custom shell from Winnebago and puts the order on our production

schedule.  A few months later we’ll be selecting your interior colors and you’ll work on designing your graphics wrap.  Just before we start production you’ll receive production plans to approve. With approved plans our production team will begin the build-out of your mobile clinic.  One week prior to completion we’ll schedule your final inspection, issue your final payment invoice, and collect the information we need for delivery (if applicable), bill of sales, Certificates of Origin and warranty registration.  Upon completion of your mobile clinic ADI will arrange for delivery or pick-up and schedule any on-site training that has been selected.  After delivery ADI is here to help you with questions, warranty issues, training questions, technical support and any other needs you may have.

What type of after delivery support services does ADI offer?

ADI Mobile Health offers the most comprehensive after sales support in the industry.  We provide on-site training (a quote will be provided upon request), customer service, technical support and operational support for the life of your mobile clinic.

Do I need a CDL or special license to drive an ADI Mobile Health Clinic?

No, ADI Mobile Health Clinics are under 26,000 lbs. and require only a standard driver’s license in most US states.

Are there any special regulations I will need to follow to operate a mobile health clinic in my state?

Some states have many regulations while others have few to none.  ADI can help you contact your local Medical and/or Dental boards and determine what regulations you may need to follow, if you need any special licensing or registration with the state, and any other rules or regulations you may need to follow.

I'm not sure whether I should purchase a gasoline or diesel chassis. How do I know which one is better?

ADI can help you determine the best chassis for your needs.  Diesel is not necessarily better than gasoline.  Depending upon the number of miles you plan on driving, the terrain you deal with and other factors, you may decide you want a diesel chassis.  However, a diesel chassis and generator are quite a bit more expensive than gasoline as both the chassis and the generator cost more.

How do I know I have the right size generator?

ADI’s sister company, Advanced Dynamo, builds the most reliable, long life generators on the market. Our expert team can assist you in determining your power needs so that we can guarantee you have enough power to run your mobile clinic.

  • Advanced Dynamo’s patented generator sets are available in 12.5kw to20kw, and can be configured for 50 or 60 Htz. Fuel options include gasoline, diesel and LPG (Propane).
  • The Gasoline and Diesel generator sets are rated for up to 10,000 hours (15,000 hours for propane) of continuous duty, which means they can deliver a full load for 10,000+ hours (equivalent to 600,000 miles).
  • Single sided service design allows for easy access. The generator does not have to be removed to be repaired or serviced.
  • Advanced Dynamo generators produce very low vibration and sound (less than 63 decibels for the gasoline generator) with multiple isolated motor mounts and extensive use of sound insulating materials.
  • Our Patented Roof Exhaust and Heat Riser System eliminates the dangers of exhaust and carbon monoxide accumulating under the vehicle and entering the clinic through the entry door or windows. It also draws heat from the muffler and catalytic converter away from the engine, prolonging engine and generator life.

What makes Winnebago commercial shells the best?

There are many reasons to purchase a Winnebago commercial shell. The Winnebago Industries Commercial Shell is not a converted RV. Each commercial shell is built for ADI by the Winnebago Industries Specialty Vehicles.

  • Winnebago's patented construction process uses their integral box construction with watertight, strong, interlocking geometry- partition walls are not required for stability.
  • Wall & ceiling units are Structural Insulated Panels (SIP's): an engineered, one-piece laminated system of fiberglass, plywood, and high-density foam with embedded steel and aluminum reinforcements. SIP's deliver unsurpassed strength, insulation, and durability in a lightweight unit.
  • Individual wall & roof sections are independently repairable or replaceable if needed.
  • Seamless FRP (Fiberglass) interior wall panels include a standard anti-microbial coating.
  • High insulation values in the ceiling (R25), walls (R19), and basement compartments (R12).
  • The one-piece fiberglass roof includes a ten (10) year warranty.
  •  A large, roomy, comfortable, walk-thru cab / driver’s area includes an all-steel roll cage with roll bar.
  • The sub-floor consists of 1-⅛ᵗʰ inch, marine grade plywood with a continuous aluminum under-layer.
  • Includes an extensive North American (USA & Canada) Dealer warranty / service network (Winnebago Industries & chassis
  • manufacturers).
